Devan completed her undergraduate degree in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education at Utah State University, where she took the course Hearing Science from lab alumna Sarah Yoho Leopold. She relocated to Ohio for her graduate training, and plans to pursue the Au.D./Ph.D. She has become acquainted with the laboratory over the past year and is engaged in a number of projects involving speech perception.
